  • 1 slice Applegate Farms turkey bacon
  • Optional toppings:
    • Avocado slices
    • Tomato slices
    • Red onion slices
    • Black olives
    • Bell pepper slices
    • Cucumber slices
  • Drizzle with olive oil and red wine vinegar
  • Sprinkle with Italian seasoning or 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise

BLT Wrap

  • 1 large leaf of lettuce
  • 3 slices Applegate Farms turkey bacon
  • Tomato slices
  • Red onion slices
  • Mayonnaise or Vegenaise*


Directions

  1. Cook the Turkey Bacon: In a stainless-steel pan, heat enough oil to coat the bottom. Add the Applegate Farms turkey bacon and cook over medium heat until browned and crispy on both sides. This should take about 4-6 minutes. Remember that the bacon will crisp up more as it cools.
  2. Prepare the Wrap:
    • For the Turkey Club Wrap: Lay several large leaves of lettuce flat as your base. Layer the turkey breast and crispy turkey bacon on top. Add any optional toppings you enjoy, such as avocado, tomato, red onion, olives, peppers, or cucumber. Drizzle with olive oil and red wine vinegar, and sprinkle with Italian seasoning or add a tablespoon of mayonnaise if desired. Fold the lettuce leaves around the filling to form your wrap.
    • For the BLT Wrap: Use a large leaf of lettuce as your wrap base. Layer with the crispy turkey bacon, tomato slices, and red onion. Add mayonnaise or Vegenaise as desired. Wrap the lettuce around the fillings.
  3. Serve: Enjoy your wrap immediately. If you don’t plan to eat right away, wait to add your olive oil and vinegar dressing until you’re ready to avoid a soggy wrap.
