Dr. Jeff Tanzar D.C.

Dr. Tanzar is a Board Certified Chiropractor in the states of Virginia, South Carolina and Massachusetts. Dr. Tanzar did his undergraduate studies at the University of Massachusetts and received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from National College of Chiropractic. He has been in practice for over 22 years and has performed over 200,000 treatments. In addition, he has taught chiropractic students and doctors in the fields of anatomy and kinesiology, as well as chiropractic procedures and techniques.

As the owner of Tanzar Chiropractic Wellness Center, Dr. Tanzar has served Forest, Lynchburg, Bedford and surrounding areas for 17 years. He and his staff pride themselves on providing a loving, compassionate, and supportive environment to help their patients not only regain their health, vitality and youth, but also maintain their health once restored.

In keeping with this approach, Tanzar Chiropractic offers several events throughout the year including community dinner talks, specific health topic workshops, weight loss programs, and much more. Dr. Tanzar is also available to present workshops at schools, companies, civic groups, organizations, corporations and churches in an effort to educate our community about health and wellness.

Dr. Arthur Selander

Certified Chiropractic Rehabiliation Doctor having completed a postgraduate course of study in Chiropractic Rehabiliation and having met the qualifications and having passed the certified examination under the authority of The Chiropractic Rehabilitation Association on the 30th day of January 1992.

Successfully completed 480 hours of post graduate study between the years of 1984 and 2004 in addition to the above mentioned.  This course work was in various chiropractic methodologies such as X-ray interpretation, diagnosis of low back conditions, advanced adjusting/manipulation techniques, review of recent medical studies, etc.

Community volunteer work includes teaching chess club at the middle school during the winter months, organizing occasional coin seminars for grade school children, assisting  with arborist functions such as purchasing, planting and chemically treating trees, coaching Little League baseball, coaching soccer, coaching basketball and wrestling.
